Brown Bread Crumble with Strawberries, Cream, Shortbread biscuits and Lemon Curd

Brown Bread Crumble with Strawberries, Cream, Shortbread Biscuits & Lemon Curd

~ 100 g Brown Bread (Baked)

~ 50 g Brown Sugar

~ ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon

~ 1 Tablespoon Treacle

~ 1 table spoon Lemon Curd

~ 1 Shortbread Biscuit

Method

~ Cut Brown Soda Bread into 1 cm approx chunks

~ Put into a food processor and mix until it makes bread crumb consistency

~ Add in the rest of the ingredients into the food processor with the brown bread crumbs

~ Mix for about 10 seconds in the processor

~ Place mixture on lined baking tray and spread evenly out

~ Bake for about 10 minutes until toasted

~Wait to cool

Arrangement

~ Add some of your crumble to the cream and mix, make a bed of cream on a plate. Top with some more crumble

~ Place your strawberries on top of the cream, then tier your shortbread biscuit on top

~ Pipe some lemon curd on the strawberries that surround the biscuit

~ Sprinkle with Strawberry juice

~ Finally top off with a scoop of crumble and cream, and add a little more crumble on top
